Profile
Gaetan Brillaud is a corporate finance professional who has worked on both sides of a financing. He spent 9 years in financial audit and transaction services at EY and Deloitte, first in Paris, then in Montréal, running buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence on deals up to €1bn for private equity firms, institutional investors and corporates in Europe and North America.
He then moved to the investor side, as a venture capital principal at Investissement Québec, and to tech lending, as a director in tech financing at Desjardins. In December 2023 he founded Fractal, where he acts as a fractional CFO for seed to Series A tech startups and runs financial due diligence for the investors who fund them.
